Job Overview
We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook for the Cold side of the kitchen to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Monitor food stock.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role is recommended but willing to train.
- Knowledge of best practices for food safety and handling.
