**Job Description:**
A Medical assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. Additionally, the MA RPT Performs imaging exams for which the employee meets the Medical Group's Core Exam Specifications and as allowed by their Limited Scope Radiographer. Caregivers must demonstrate competency in these areas through successful completion of skills test/competency review.
**Essential Functions**
+ Communication: Clearly communicate with patients seeking care through various modalities, including telephone and in-person interactions.
+ Patient Care: Assist the provider in gathering information relevant to the patient’s visit and condition under the direction of the Clinician.
