Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and present the lifting procedure, lifting plans, rigging studies, S-PCM and maintain records/ reports.
- To determine the selection of crane, lifting gears and equipment for the lifting works.
- Site survey for ground condition, ensuring ground stability for mobile cranes and calculate the ground bearing pressure, if required.
- To ensure lifting gears to be used (spreader beams, wire/webbing slings, shackles, lever/chain blocks) meets the requirements and are in accordance with approved lifting plan.
- Monitor and supervise the preparation for lifting operations, conduct pre-lift meetings/toolbox talks, and monitor load stability and site conditions.
- Liaise with client and other contractors for approval, smooth site preparation and lifting operation.
- Coordination among internal departments; HSE, construction, operators and other related departments.
