Join LifeLabs as a Part Time Lab Patient Technician to support critical specimen collection in St Thomas. You will ensure patient needs are met while preparing samples for testing.
In this important role, you will greet and assist patients throughout the specimen collection process. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomies and special test collections, maintaining client relations, and accurately entering data. You must be available for various shifts covering both St Thomas locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and explain the necessary collection procedures
• Execute phlebotomies and manage holter monitor connections
• Complete documentation for special test collections
• Address client inquiries and ensure prompt follow-up
• Process and prepare specimens for further testing
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Laboratory Assistant program
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred
