Key Responsibilities
Supervise all pool sessions in line with health and safety regulationsEnsure the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all timesSupport SEN pupils sensitively during swimming activitiesCarry out pool checks and maintain a safe environmentRespond quickly and effectively in emergency situationsWork closely with teaching and therapy staffMaintain accurate safety and incident records Requirements
Valid lifeguard qualification ( RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent)Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)Strong communication and teamwork skillsCalm, responsible, and attentive approach Desirable
