Licensed Practical Nurse Substitute: District

This position is for a substitute role to be paid by days worked.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess appropriate LPN credentials in the state of Oklahoma.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Must be flexible, communicate well with people of all ages and backgrounds; have good public
relations skills and teaching skills; must be able to maintain confidentiality.
2. Advises and assists in the treatment of ill or injured students and faculty.
3. Complies with the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act and utilizes guidelines from other professional
organizations.
4. Coordinates and provides health education programs for students according to state standards.
5. Participates in programs designed to promote professional growth.
6. Provides health education information to students, faculty and staff and provides training to
personnel.
