Licensed Practical Nurse - Operating Room Technician

Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a perioperative specialty, you provide care and support to patients before, during, and after surgery. Perioperative nurses are responsible for maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room, monitoring the patient during surgery, and coordinating care throughout the process. This program combines online delivery with on-site labs and training to prepare you to work alongside surgeons and other health care professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented operating room setting. A Preceptorship and Orientation is provided on site in the GPRH OR upon successful completion of the Perioperative Certificate program.
