Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care to emergency patients and acute care medical inpatients on a 30 bed unit. This combined unit fosters a strong collaborative team environment with Nurses, Physicians, Unit Clerks, and Health Care Aides. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the LPN will be committed to providing open communication and feedback with respect for colleagues, care providers, patients, and families. The LPN will also work as a member of a health care team, collaborating on the delivery of care to meet the needs of the patients/clients. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care and should expect to work to their full scope of practice.
