The campus includes a YMCA and retail services. Unit 68 is an Acute Care Inpatient Medical/Surgical Unit that provides care to General Medicine and General Surgical Patients. The LPN works as a member of the health care team, collaborating on the delivery of care to meet the needs of patients/clients. The LPN is accountable for his/her own practice, according to the standards defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta. The LPN provides care to patients/clients whose health condition and needs are well defined and established, predictable with little fluctuation over time, and localized and manageable.
