The High River General Hospital Long-Term Care (LTC) is home to 50 Elderly Residents. Nestled kms south of Calgary in the beautiful community of High River, Alberta. The vibrant High River Hospital offers an excellent rural nursing opportunity in a unique and diverse Alberta health services care facility.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in LTC works in a Resident Family Centered Care environment that focuses on meeting the comprehensive and complex care needs of the Residents and their families in a home like setting. The LPN will work collaboratively with a variety of disciplines including Registered Nurses (RN) Health Care Aides (HCA), Rehabilitation Staff, Recreation Therapy, Pharmacy and the Physicians group with the purpose of promoting, maintaining or restoring health.
