Library Director - Penn Area Library

The Penn Area Library Board of Trustees is seeking a forward-thinking, community-oriented leader who possesses strong organizational and project management skills. The Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all phases of the library operations and reports to the Library Board of Trustees. The Director should have a strong interest in continuing to expand the library's programs and services as well as to work closely with the Westmoreland County Network. Library Overview: The Penn Area Library is located in Penn Township, approximately 30 miles east of Pittsburgh. The Penn Area Library is a public, nonprofit library that serves a population of over 22,000 and includes a branch location in Trafford, PA. It is a member of the Westmoreland County Federated Library System, an alliance of 26 member libraries serving the residents of Westmoreland County.
