About the Role


The University Library invites applicants for two 12-month limited-term faculty positions, from August 15, 2026 - August 14, 2027. Limited-term positions normally hold the rank of Assistant Professor, and these roles will be appointed to the Teaching-Service (TS) work pattern.

The candidates will engage in a range of teaching and teaching-related activities, including information literacy instruction, collections and reference work, as well as in the planning, development and delivery of library initiatives that support the teaching, learning, and scholarly work of MRU students, staff, faculty, and community. Engagement and relationship-building with students, staff, and faculty across the library and MRU campus is a significant component of this work.
