Join our team as a Lead Sea Kayak Guide Level III, conducting thrilling basecamp tours for up to six guests. Share your passion for wildlife and kayaking in a captivating natural environment.
This role focuses on leading 2 to 5-day sea kayaking tours, ensuring guests experience the beauty of nature. As a Level III guide, you will also instruct fellow guides and contribute to operational best practices. Your ability to engage and educate tourists, who are often non-kayakers, is crucial for a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead 2 to 5-day basecamp kayaking tours
• Assist groups on shorter kayaking tours (2, 4, and 6 hours)
• Instruct and develop new guides in effective techniques
• Provide lessons on tides, currents, and wildlife
• Maintain and repair kayaks and gear as needed
Requirements:
• SKGABC Level 3 certification or equivalent
• 80-hour Wilderness First Aid certification preferred
