St Barbara is searching for great people like you to fill a Level 4 Apprentice Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) position (full-time, permanent) at the mill of our open-pit gold mine in Moose River Gold Mines, NS. At St Barbara, you’ll be part of a team working safely to make enduring, positive impacts on your community and the world at large.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: $35.67-37.77/hour
  • Healthcare & dental plan and RRSP (after probation)
  • 80 hours of vacation (after probation); more after 1 year
  • Overtime hours available

    • Schedule

  • Full-time (36-48 hours/week)
  • 4 days on, 4 days off
  • 12-hour shifts, days and possibly nights
  • Day shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Night shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

    • Duties

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment
  • Participate in maintenance planning
