This role involves managing external legal counsel, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance throughout the development process. You will provide legal guidance on construction agreements, contracts, and related operational matters. Your expertise will also include mentoring junior staff and fostering relationships with external legal partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal support for design and construction activities
• Advise on contract reviews, compliance, and dispute resolution
• Mentor legal clerks and construction teams
• Develop relationships with law firms and advisors
• Understand internal processes and approval structures
Requirements:
• Law degree and qualified to practice in Toronto
• Minimum 3 years' in-house or law firm experience
