Responsibilities:

1.
Contract & Legal Document
Management

  • Draft,
    review, and negotiate contracts (supplier, distributor, franchise,
    tenancy, licensing).
  • Ensure contracts align
    with legal requirements and company
    policies.
  • Maintain records of agreements and
    renewals.

2.
Regulatory
Compliance

  • Ensure
    company operations comply with local and
    international food laws
    (e.g., Food Act 1983, HACCP,
    FSSC, GMP).
  • Handle halal
    certification
    processes (JAKIM), if
    applicable.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities
    (KPDN, MOH, SIRIM, etc.).

3.
Risk Management & Legal
Advisory

  • Advise
    management on legal implications of business
    decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks
    related to new products or business
