Overview
Join our dynamic legal team as a Legal Assistant specializing in employment law. You will be the first point of contact for new employment cases transitioning from our Intake Department, support attorneys with factual development, and help manage case files from intake through discovery. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients, employers, and opposing counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Initial point of contact for new employment cases transitioning from the Intake Department, providing a professional and supportive client experience.
Interview clients to confirm facts, build a clear timeline of events, and identify all relevant employment-law issues (e.g., unlawful termination, discrimination, wage-and-hour concerns, retaliation, improper classifications).
