Become part of Gowling WLG's Intellectual Property team as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Bring your expertise in trademarks and electronic filing to contribute to our clients’ success on a global scale. With a foundation in a recognized Legal Secretarial or Law Clerk Program and at least 5 years of experience, you will play an essential role in managing documents, adhering to deadlines, and providing top‑note client service.
Your experience with CIPO, WIPO, and practice management systems will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and attend to electronic trademark filings
- File documents with CIPO and monitor submission deadlines
- Communicate effectively with clients and foreign associates
- Manage accounts and billing efficiently
- Maintain organized files and data management systems
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized program for Legal Secretarial or Law Clerk
