Leave Specialist

Job Summary
Responsible for managing and overseeing leaves of absences, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Serves as the point of contact for team members' and leader's questions and concerns regarding leaves. Provides appropriate codes and processing for payroll functions.

Essential Functions

+ Administers and coordinates integrated claims management involving Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), personal leaves, American's with Disability Act (ADA) and others as identified, in accordance with the respective organization’s plan documents, policies and applicable laws that govern them. Coordinates integrated claims management with STD and LTD vendors to provide timely and accurate customer service. Investigates and follows up on abnormal activities with a claim.
