Overview

A leasing assistant helps with the rental process for residential or commercial properties.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Prospective Tenants – Answering inquiries, scheduling tours, and showing available units.
  • Processing Applications – Collecting necessary documents, running background/credit checks, and submitting approvals.
  • Lease Preparation & Signing – Drafting and reviewing lease agreements with tenants.
  • Customer Service – Addressing tenant concerns, handling maintenance requests, and providing general support.
  • Administrative Tasks – Managing lease files, updating tenant records, and handling correspondence.
  • Marketing & Outreach – Helping with advertising vacant units, updating listings, and sometimes coordinating with marketing teams.
