Learning Support Teaching Assistant for Inclusion and Learning

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic and reliable teaching assistant to join the Inclusion and Learning department at Whitmore High School, Barry.

The school is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is able to work independently with small groups and individual pupils, in both wellbeing and learning interventions.

The role will involve working with emotionally based school avoiders within our Gardd Dysgu provision, supporting learners to re-engage with education in a nurturing and inclusive environment. In addition, the role will include working with students across our mainstream provision, providing in-class support to help learners access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
