Advert Learning Support Teacher, Uist Schools 35 hours per week, Permanent Post £45,015 - £55,737 per annum, inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per annum Required to implement the Council’s Inclusion Policy by working with schools and other agencies to support pupils with additional support needs. The ASN Manager will direct the location of schools across Uist where input required. You will be required to work collaboratively and in partnership with schools to support pupils with additional support needs, ensure the Council’s staged intervention process is implemented, advise on appropriate materials to allow pupils access to a differentiated curriculum and/or elaborated curriculum and regularly assess pupil’s educational, social, emotional and behavioural needs and devise and implement methods of effectively meeting those needs.
