New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across the Pontypool area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are patient, caring, and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
  • Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children with additional learning needs where required
  • Encourage pupil confidence, engagement, and development
