Learning Support Assistant (Term Time Only)

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.

The Learning Support team are seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to provide a range of high‑quality support to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities across the working week Monday – Friday 08:45 – 16:30.

Responsibilities

• Support learners in a sensitive, professional, discrete and confidential manner
• Encourage personal and academic independence, self‑empowerment and self‑help skills wherever possible
• Contribute to the development of individual learning programmes in liaison with Support Coordinators and course tutors
• Ensure that learners are receiving the appropriate level of support and report any issues to the Support Coordinators
