Overview
Under the direction of the Head Teacher, the Learning Support Assistant is expected to support the delivery of high quality primary education and learning which effectively meets the needs of children.

- The post is not career graded. A successful candidate will be employed as either a Qualified or Unqualified Learning Support Assistant. The person specification will determine the salary/rate of pay and duties.
- Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.5523 per hour.
- Permanent part‑time post for 12.0 hours per week, 39 weeks per year plus 6.24 weeks (pro‑rata) paid holiday to be taken during school holidays.
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment.
