Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and reliable individual to work within a successful, forward‑thinking Inclusion and Wellbeing team. The role will involve working with a range of students including those with SEND or who may have arrived at secondary school with lower than expected levels of learning.

The successful candidate will support students both in mainstream classrooms and during small group interventions. The successful person will also carry responsibility for the leadership of early identification of need, including:

  • Identify SEND students requiring additional academic, emotional, behavioural, or pastoral support
  • Track attendance, behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement indicators to identify emerging concerns
  • Analyse assessment and progress data to recognise gaps in learning and barriers to achievement
  • Work with teaching staff to identify students showing signs of additional learning needs
