Learning Consultant: Indigenous Perspectives Role

Sun West School Division seeks a Learning Consultant specialized in Indigenous Perspectives for the 2026/27 school year. Collaborate with educators to invigorate student engagement through Indigenous teachings.

As a full-time Learning Consultant, you will work closely with administrators and teachers to integrate Indigenous perspectives into various educational frameworks. Strong candidates will possess experience with Treaty Education and an understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, enabling a comprehensive approach to education.

Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate infusion of Indigenous perspectives in curriculum and instruction • Provide professional development on Indigenous cultural matters • Lead the response to educational Truth and Reconciliation calls • Promote inclusivity through effective resource provision • Analyze data to identify student skill levels
