Learning and Development Associate

Job Description

• Needs Analysis: Develop training programs to strategically address specific skill gaps in technical, procedural, and compliance areas.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with department heads (e.g., Lab Director, Section Managers) to set learning objectives that align with quality standards, accreditation (CLIA, CAP), and safety protocols.
• Content Creation: Create engaging learning materials (e-learning modules, presentations, SOP manuals) focused on new laboratory equipment, testing methodologies, and regulatory updates.
• Program Delivery: Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions specifically for lab technologists, technicians, and phlebotomists, including new hire onboarding and annual competency reviews.
• Evaluation & Reporting: Evaluate the effectiveness of training using feedback, pass rates on competency assessments, and performance metrics (e.g., error rates in testing).
