Lean & Continuous Improvement Technician Co-op

What are we looking for?

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Continuous Improvement Technician Co‑op will support manufacturing operations by designing and fabricating manufacturing aids and contributing to lean and process improvement projects.

Co‑op Term Duration: May 2026 - September 2026

Essential Responsibilities

• Using CAD software to design manufacturing aids including shadow boards and jigs
• Safely operating a CNC router to complete fabrication projects with various materials
• Using hand tools to assemble signage, dashboards, and fixtures
• Conduct time studies and workflow analyses to identify bottlenecks and recommend Lean improvements (e.g., waste reduction, process standardization)
• Actively participate in and support Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives and drive change within the organization
