Leader of Learning Science

We invite applications for a permanent Leader of Learning in Science to join Taipa Area School, commencing as soon as possible, but by Term 2, 2026 at the latest. Science achievement at our school has been outstanding over recent years, and to continue this momentum, we are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic leader with exemplary experience in NCEA Science. While we are also advertising for a Science teacher (with both permanent and 6‑week fixed‑term roles available), this leadership position offers negotiable Management Units (MUs) dependent upon your experience. An ability to teach Physics and/or Marine Biology would be a significant advantage in delivering engaging, inquiry‑based lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
