Position Overview

Lead Drafting Services / Product Definition Technician at Pratt & Whitney Canada, Mississauga facility. Works on aircraft engine drafting and modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, revise, and verify all drawings and related documents for parts, assemblies, and complete engines using CAD and online systems.
  • Perform complex drafting duties with Computer Aided Design (CAD). Focus on assembly drawings, clearance and tolerance charts, 3D models, and 3D Digital Mock‑Ups (DMU).
  • Provide technical assistance and support through all detail design phases.
  • Give technical direction to draftspersons on less complex designs, redesigns (DMU, EMU), and junior drafts.
  • Ensure compliance with governing procedures, P&W Canada Environment, Health & Safety rules, and quality requirements.
  • Document engineering changes or releases and ensure supporting paperwork is complete before approval and release.
