Overview
Venor is proud to partner with Cabco Communications Group, a locally based organization in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on their search for a Lead Support Technician. This role will join the Managed IT Solutions division as a senior escalation resource across diverse client environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support infrastructure: servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and cloud (Azure, AWS).
- Build and support cloud/hosted environments: Microsoft365/O365, Exchange2013+, SharePoint, SQL, AzureAD/Entra.
- Administer core Microsoft services: Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server2012+, Windows10/11.
- Secure remote access and networking: configure VPNs, VLANs, traffic policies and enterprise security system solutions (Fortinet/Checkpoint or similar).
- Own the full lifecycle: research, diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve; document thoroughly; and elevate issues appropriately.
