Lead Security Engineer

Our client seeks a Lead Security Engineer to join their team.

Role Profile

Responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continual improvement of the organisation's security technologies and supporting controls. The role provides technical leadership across security engineering activities and supports the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in protecting the organisation's information assets, maintaining effective cyber defence capabilities, and improving overall security maturity. This includes responsibility for the day-to-day operation and optimisation of key security platforms, security monitoring, incident response support, and the secure configuration of cloud and infrastructure services from a security perspective. The role also contributes to audit readiness, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and third‑party assurance activities within a regulated financial services environment.
