Lead School Bus Mechanic

Monark Student Transportation is willing to train for those interested and willing to learn and grow with us.

As Mechanic you will perform repair work and maintenance for buses.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes, and tune-ups, repairing  or replacing malfunctioning parts and systems such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.

You will pe rform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function and examining critical parts and systems using a standard checklist.

You will be able to identify mechanical issues either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.

Test drive vehicles to confirm safe and proper operation and planning timetable to complete such repairs and maintenance.  What skills and knowledge you need to help you succeed in this role:
