Overview

The US Equities Development group is responsible for the architecture, development and support of NASDAQ’s North American equities market systems, which includes the core trading and post-trade systems, market data feeds, ticker plants, gateways, smart order routers, and monitoring suite. It is a rich and challenging environment as these systems are subject to requirements of high availability, high throughput, ultralow latency, and also have both rich and innovative functionality. Development is primarily in Java, running on a Linux-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that all problems are resolved and that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements.
