JOB SUMMARY
Provides shift management and direction for group of CMT employees shifts to meet expected targets in the areas of production, quality and cost. This position reports to a Production Supervisor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the day-to-day production functions including assigning work schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring quality, providing advanced troubleshooting on more complex issues, and ensures production schedules are followed. Responsible for the daily production output, quality and delivery.
Manages fluctuating workloads of team members to ensure effective departmental operations. Alerts leadership of any significant coverage gaps. Meet daily targets set.
Trains team members and acts as a resource to team members by assisting with problem resolution and providing informal coaching.
Provides input into team members' performance appraisals and alerts management of any performance problems.
