Job Description

Performs a wide range of clerical and technical functions in support of the pharmacy department in those aspects of pharmacy that do not require the professional judgment of a pharmacist. Functions in accordance with established guidelines under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Assists supervisor or manager in support of the pharmacy department including, but not limited to, coordination of scheduling, orienting and training new employees, and leading specific divisions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPEREINCE, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High school diploma or Equivalent. 

2. Mustpossesscurrent licensure as required by state board where services will be provided: 

MD:Pharmacy Technician Student Permit or Pharmacy Technician License through Maryland Board of Pharmacy 

OH:Pharmacy Technician Trainee License or Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician License through Ohio Board of Pharmacy
