I am currently working with a Southampton-based company, that focuses on high-performance fibre lasers and photonic crystal fibres.

They are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for mechanical development for laser products through the entire product lifecycle.

They are looking for an exceptional Lead Mechanical Engineer to join a great team. As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
  • Take the lead in establishing and shaping the engineering best practices.
  • Take the lead on multiple mechanical work packages.
  • Explore the range of options for new concepts and designs.
  • Form new and innovative design concepts.
  • Collaborate with projects and communicate concerns.
  • Arrange training, mentoring, and line manage other teams when required.
