About the Role:

As aLead Mechanicat Dumas, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing the fleet of heavy mining equipment that keeps our operations running safely and efficiently. You will work underground in a fast-paced setting, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime to support production goals while working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate underground mechanics to meet maintenance targets.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment (jumbos, bolters, scoops, haul trucks).
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Communicate with supervisors and planners to prioritize repairs and parts ordering.
  • Train and mentor mechanics to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
