Lead Inspector

Lead Inspector Segers Aero Corporation located in Fairhope, AL is seeking a Lead Inspector to join our team. We offer a competitive benefits package and a 9/80 work schedule that includes every other Friday off. Purpose of Position To assign daily inspection requirements, support the Chief Inspector, and perform inspections in accordance with approved technical data. Essential Functions Trains, coaches and develops inspectors as necessary to ensure goals are met and proper procedures and policies are followed Assists Chief Inspector and Quality Manager in completing inspectors' reviews and documenting work performance Assigns daily inspection requirements to support production schedule Leads or participates in improvement efforts to improve turn time, reduce errors or reduce costs using continuous improvement tools Completes inspections in accordance with approved technical data Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds Compares...
