Role Summary
The **Lead Image Chain System Engineer** (Detector Expert) is the senior technical lead for x‑ray detectors and the full imaging chain at Hologic. This role owns the detector technology roadmap, drives innovation in detector design and signal processing, and ensures best‑in‑class image quality and dose performance across Hologic’s x‑ray platforms (e.g., mammography, DXA, radiography). You will be both strategic and hands‑on, leading complex R&D efforts while mentoring others and collaborating across hardware, software, clinical, and regulatory teams. We are located in Newark, DE and will require onsite presence.
