Title: Lead Hand – Mixing
Department: Production
Reports to: Mixing Supervisor
Job Summary
The Mixing Lead Hand will require a strong level of mechanical aptitude, and 3 years’ work experience in Production or Mixing. Responsibilities shall include the management of Mix Helpers, maintaining product quality, safety, batching, scanning materials and ensuring traceability, and will work with Supervisors to coordinate production schedules. Other responsibilities will include the operation of various types of machinery, completing compliance paperwork (BRC, health & safety, etc.), and participating in related programs.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Coordination of Mixing schedule on a daily basis (coverage for breaks, lunches, as well as working with the Mixing Supervisor to adjust schedules to accommodate trial runs, breakdowns, etc.)
- Monitor the performance of the Mixing system
