In this influential position, you’ll take charge of interpreting client specifications and translating them into actionable cost estimates. Your role will also include mentoring junior estimators and ensuring the accuracy of all proposals created across our shipyards. You’ll engage in contract negotiations and assist with bid assessments, playing a crucial part in project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze client specifications to develop work packages
• Guide junior estimators in proposal creation and method statements
• Prepare comprehensive bid/tender documentation
• Manage creation of preliminary project schedules
• Act as Estimating Manager when required
