LEAD ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Responsibilities

• Own the design of existing, new, and/or non‑standard product packages and develop technical solutions to meet assignment demands.
• Produce designs of enhanced quality (functionality, durability, etc.) with responsibility for entire XMT and Wellhead products.
• Evaluate relevant design rules, procedures, and standards within OneSubsea and propose changes and improvements to a more senior team member.
• Delegate responsibility for individual parts of design work to less experienced colleagues and, when more innovative solutions are required, escalate for review by a senior team member for implementation.
• Act as an escalation point for key issues/designs that require approval at this level.
• Formally review the designs of less experienced engineers.
• Work closely across internal clients within different parts of OneSubsea to understand overall workflow and support delivery of high‑quality outputs. ...
