**Job Description Summary**
The Lead Engineer 2– Mechanical Component will contribute to a team responsible for highly engineered equipment design of nuclear plant components. Mechanical Component Engineers create and develop design concepts, provide procurement support, and generate drawings, CAD models, specifications, and design basis documentation as required.
In this role, the Lead Engineer will operate in a matrixed engineering team to deliver high quality engineering deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines (ASME, NRC, CSA, and others). The Lead Engineer will work with a global team of partner organizations and suppliers to advance the BWRX-300 plant design and contribute to delivery of BWRX-300 projects.
