Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and upgrade MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Oracle databases
- Monitor and optimize database performance to meet service level objectives
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Implement and maintain database security policies and user access controls
- Set up replication, clustering, and high-availability database solutions
- Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting and tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly
