Position at DNEG The Lead Compositor works within a department and is typically assigned to one show. They support the Compositing Supervisor to ensure the artists in their team use consistent methodologies to deliver the highest quality of work on time, on budget, and in a sustainable way. They are expected to lead a group of shots and artists on a show, completing templates and look development tasks for team use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver shots and sequences to the Comp Supervisor and ensure creative and technical continuity.
  • Provide leadership and technical support for the team.
  • Deliver the required quality standards.
  • Adhere to consistent department workflows and processes.
  • Assist Comp supervisor in the creation and development of show templates.
  • Contribute to workflow and methodologies to help with the efficiency and productivity of projects.
