Spectral Consultants is hiring a Lead Big Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable Big Data and Azure cloud-based platforms for critical, customer-facing solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role with ownership of architecture, performance, and team delivery. Insurance industry experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Design & build scalable data pipelines using Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase & SOLR

✔ Architect batch and real-time data processing solutions

✔ Optimize data performance, quality & latency

✔ Lead deployments, code reviews & production support

✔ Manage and mentor a team of 4–5 engineers
