Job Purpose

Senior Project Manager oversees the overall performance of the hazardous materials (Haz. Mat.) Department. The Senior Project Manager will lead, manage and execute complex environmental projects from initiation through completion, ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial success. This role requires strong leadership skills, business development acumen, and the ability to mentor junior staff while managing client relationships and Athenica’s collection of projects. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to balance competing priorities such as schedule adherence, budget control, technical integrity, and client satisfaction — all while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
