We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to head our audit function and strengthen our assurance, control and risk frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain a risk-based internal audit plan for the company (including sites, operational units, corporate functions) aligned with OUS's strategic objectives and risk profile.
- Lead audits of finance, operations, compliance, IT and HSE/environmental controls at mining/asset operations; evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance and risk management.
- Report audit findings, risk exposures and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee; monitor implementation of management actions and ensure timely closure of issues.
